After taking the Rat King's powers (along with his head), Clara sets off into the realm of snowflakes, sweets, and toys. Inspired by the Nutcracker ballet and the original tale by E. T. A. Hoffmann, this Clara is a re-imagining of the story as an action game. Original Concept and Modelling by me.
Ideally, I would like to see this project through but at this stage its more of a pitch! Clara has been sitting in my head for a couple of years and I initially attempted her character for the first time last year, but only got part-way. I wanted to re-try the model this year and apply some skills I learnt using Vertex School's quarantine stylized character challenge. Seeing my progress this way on the same character is really motivating!
As this is currently still a WIP my next stages will be rigging and animating in Maya, and exporting the animations to Unreal Engine.
